SNMP Configuration – v3 users have passwords

Solution

In the Web UI , navigate to the ‘System’ section , click on ‘SNMP’ and then click the password form box for ‘Password’ under authentication protocol. Fill out the form with the password.

This security hardening control applies to the following category of controls within NIST 800-53: Access Control.This control applies to the following type of system WatchGuard.
