This policy setting controls whether hyperlinks in Access tables, queries, forms, and reports are underlined. The recommended state for this setting is: Enabled. By default, Access underlines hyperlinks that appear in tables, queries, forms, and reports. If this configuration is changed, users might click on dangerous hyperlinks without realizing it, which could pose a security risk.
Solution
To implement the recommended configuration state, set the following Group Policy setting to Enabled. User ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesMicrosoft Access 2016Application SettingsWeb Options…GeneralUnderline hyperlinks Impact: If this setting is Enabled, Access underlines all hyperlinks in tables, queries, forms, and reports when they are created, overriding any configuration changes on the users’ computers.
