Ensure ‘Suppress the unsupported OS warning’ is set to ‘Disabled’

Details

Google Chrome will show a warning that appears when Google Chrome is running on a computer or operating system that is no longer supported.

The recommended state for this setting is: Disabled (0)

Rationale:

The user shall be informed if the used software is no longer supported.

Impact:

None – This is the default behavior.

Solution

To establish the recommended configuration via Group Policy, set the following UI path to Disabled:

Computer ConfigurationPolicesAdministrative TemplatesGoogleGoogle ChromeSuppress the unsupported OS warning

Default Value:

Unset (Same as Disabled, but user can change)
