The recommended state for this setting is Disabled.
Rationale:
It is recommended that this setting is disabled unless otherwise directed by Enterprise policies.
Impact:
None – this is the default behavior.
Solution
To establish the recommended configuration via GP, set the following UI path to Disabled
Computer ConfigurationPoliciesAdministrative TemplatesMicrosoft EdgeAllow managed extensions to use the Enterprise Hardware Platform API
