Threat
Workstations, servers, equipment, and media is at risk to damage if voltage is not automatically controlled for key IT assets.
Guidance
1. Automatic voltage control shall be implemented and tested for key IT assets in accordance with vendor guidelines.
2. Automatic voltage control shall be implemented and tested for key IT assets in accordance with facility guidelines.
3. The automatic voltage control system shall be checked on a regular basis to ensure optimum efficiency and functionality.
