Overview
Electrical systems are configured to allow continuous or uninterrupted power to key IT assets and all users accessing the key IT assets to perform mission or business-essential functions. This may include an uninterrupted power supply coupled with emergency generators or other alternate power source.
Threat
Mission-critical systems, as well as terminals accessed by users of the critical applications, require continuous access to power in order to function. The installation of a functioning Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or similar device ensures the uninterrupted processing power for the system.
